in-person drop-off instructions

Titan Grading Labs accepts submissions in person at participating local card shops and at card shows. To protect your cards and ensure accurate grading, please follow the preparation steps below.

1. PREPARING CARDS FOR LOCAL DROP-OFF

Dropping off at a partner card shop is the safest, easiest, and most cost-effective way to submit cards.

Before dropping off your cards:

PROTECT EACH CARD

  • Place each card in a clean penny sleeve.

  • Insert the sleeved card into a toploader (preferred) or a Card Saver.

  • Please do not tape the card holder—use a team bag if needed.

ONE CARD PER HOLDER

Each card must be individually sleeved and protected.

ORGANIZE YOUR SUBMISSION

Bring a simple list that includes:

  • Your name

  • Email

  • Cards being submitted

  • Any custom label notes

Your shop will attach your list to your intake envelope before sending it to our lab.

2. UNSAFE OR IMPROPER PACKAGING

Submissions may be declined—or repackaging fees may apply—if cards arrive:

  • Unsleeved

  • Stuck together

  • Bent

  • Taped directly to holders

  • Packaged in a way that risks surface or corner damage

This policy protects your cards and our lab equipment.

3. advantages of LOCAL DROP-OFF

Local card shop drop-off provides:

  • No return shipping or mail-in handling fees

  • No transit risk

  • Faster processing

  • Assistance from shop staff familiar with Titan PC submissions

Whenever possible, we encourage in-person drop-offs.It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

4. Payment

Once your submission is received and checked into our system, Titan Grading Labs will send an invoice to the email address provided on your submission form. Payment must be completed in full before grading begins.

If you are submitting through our partnered local card shop, you may also leave payment with the shop at the time of drop-off along with your cards. Those payments will be collected when we pick up the submissions.

All orders must be paid in full prior to grading. Any unpaid submissions will remain on hold until payment is received.

MAIL-IN INSTRUCTIONS

Titan Grading Labs accepts mail-in submissions through our online submission system. All mail-in orders must be completed online before cards are shipped.

Please carefully follow the instructions below to ensure safe shipping and efficient intake.

SHIPPING ADDRESS

All mail-in submissions should be sent to:

TITAN GRADING LABS
P.O. BOX 168
PLAIN CITY, OHIO 43064

Please ensure your package includes your order confirmation email containing your order number so our intake team can properly match your cards to your submission.

1. COMPLETE checkout on our website

Before mailing your cards, you must first complete your submission and checkout through our website.

During checkout you will:

  • Enter your contact and return shipping information

  • Select your grading service level

  • Enter the cards you are submitting

  • Provide a declared value for each card

  • Complete payment for grading services

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email containing your order number.

Your order number is required for processing your submission.

2. PRINT YOUR ORDER CONFIRMATION

Print a copy of your order confirmation email and place it inside your package.

The confirmation email contains your order number, which allows our intake team to match your cards to your online submission.

Packages received without an order number or confirmation page may experience processing delays.

3. PROTECT EACH CARD

Each card must be properly protected before shipping.

Please follow these guidelines:

  • Place each card in a clean penny sleeve

  • Insert the sleeved card into a toploader (preferred) or Card Saver

  • Use one card per holder

Please do not tape card holders directly. If additional protection is needed, place card holders inside a team bag.

4. ORGANIZE YOUR CARDS IN SUBMISSION ORDER

Cards must be arranged in the same order as they appear in your online submission.

When preparing your package:

  • Stack cards in the exact order listed in your online submission

  • Place the first card listed on your order on top

  • Keep cards from different orders separate

Maintaining the correct order allows our intake team to match each card to your submission quickly and helps prevent processing delays.

5. PACKAGE YOUR SUBMISSION SECURELY

To prevent damage during transit:

  • Wrap card holders lightly in bubble wrap

  • Use a rigid shipping box (do not ship cards in envelopes)

  • Fill empty space inside the box so cards cannot shift during shipping

Proper packaging helps prevent corner, edge, and surface damage during transit.

6. SHIP YOUR PACKAGE

We strongly recommend shipping your submission using a carrier that provides tracking and optional insurance, such as:

  • USPS Priority Mail

  • UPS

  • FedEx

Titan Grading Labs is not responsible for lost or damaged incoming shipments.

Customers are encouraged to insure their shipment for the full value of the cards being submitted.

7. DECLARED VALUE & LIABILITY

During online checkout you will be asked to provide a declared value for each card submitted.

Declared value is used for:

  • Determining service eligibility

  • Calculating insurance coverage for return shipping

  • Establishing maximum liability while cards are in Titan Grading Labs’ possession

Customers are responsible for ensuring that declared values are accurate and reasonable based on current market conditions.

Titan Grading Labs’ liability for any card will not exceed the declared value provided at the time of submission.

8. IMPROPERLY PACKAGED SUBMISSIONS

Submissions may be declined or subject to repackaging fees if cards arrive:

  • Unsleeved

  • Stuck together

  • Bent or damaged due to poor packaging

  • Taped directly to card holders

  • Packaged in a way that risks damage during handling

These policies are designed to protect your cards and ensure proper grading procedures.
